What We’re All About

It all started when…

My family began their own experience with the in-home care business. They opened up a franchisee for a known in-home care business and grew the business to what it is today. I was always helping and doing what I could for the family business. I was able to see first hand all that needed to be done to have a successful in-home care business. I learned so much from my parents and everything they had to do with clients and caregivers. I also was able to see what I would have done differently and learned other options that could have made a better outcome. Once I started to get the hang of the business I thought to myself that I could do this. As my confidence grew and I learned more I really thought that I could do this on my own. So here we are with opening up my very own in-home care business. I am so thrilled and anxious for this new beginning. I know that I will have to work very hard to make this a success and I will not give up. So watch out!

What makes Sweet In-Home Care different or special? Sweet In-Home Care has a lot of heart and passion because we care about this company, our clients, and our caregivers which is why our logo has a heart. We are a small local female owned business that serves the Sugar Land and surrounding area. We are not another franchisee where the company and caregivers do not care nor are we a business working only for profit. We absolutely care and want to give our very best to make sure that there is a happy and healthy relationship between clients, their families, and caregivers. The really great thing about us is that we don’t just provide service to seniors. We want to provide excellent care to all of those who need us whether they are seniors, expecting/new mom(s), disabled, and anyone in need of recuperative or respite care. We offer a free in home consultation and assessment so you can get to know us better.

Seniors

For our seniors, we understand that with getting older that means things are not as easy to do as they use to be such as driving, cleaning the house, and going to the bathroom. It may also be that you just want a companionship. It’s always nice to have a someone to talk to and to be with you so you are not alone. We make sure that our elderly are well taken care of because they deserve it and they should be able to have the comforts of home available to them. While our focus is caring in the home we do offer the option for caregivers to go into facilities.

Mom(s)

For our mom(s), whether you are expecting/new being a parent is a daunting and overwhelming job at times, but it is also a wonderful and joyous experience. We know that sometimes all a parent wants is some help and that is where we come in. Expecting a baby means there is so much to do with so little time and we want to make sure you are ready by helping out and making sure mom gets some well earned rest because hello! she’s creating life. A newborn baby is quite an adjustment so we help out to make sure mama is cared for so she can take care of the precious baby.

Disabled

For our disabled, having a physical or mental condition that limits movements, senses, or activities should not hold you back. Our caregivers are here to make sure of that and help in performing daily activities. Tasks include shopping for food, cooking, and light cleaning of the house. Working plus being a parent with a disable child is a not easy to say the least and some help could definitely be what is needed for those feeling like they don’t have the time or need some help every now and then.

Recuperative/Respite

Lastly for our recuperative care or respite care, for recuperative the focus should be on recovering and getting back to daily activities. Caregivers will make sure that the recovery process is smooth and set in the pace it needs to be so that there will not be a relapse. We definitely do not want to see any relapses just like we are sure you do not as well. So if you are recovering from an injury, illness, or surgery our caregivers will have you back on your feet and ready to go. Respite care is available for those that just need a little break or some help. We could all use some help every now and then. Besides a need for perhaps some self care, respite can also be used for when there is a vacation, but the loved one will be staying home and will need care. We step in for those times of need while the family is away.

Wish us luck as we venture on with this new and exciting opportunity.
