Mom(s)

Becoming a parent is a new and challenging experience that is wonderful yet difficult enough without having to handle extenuating circumstances. Some mothers need extra medical care during pregnancy – in addition to their clinic visits. Depending on the situation and needs, we can come to your home or workplace. Schedules are set by you and can be once or twice a week or it can be daily, if needed. Your family and others in your support system are welcome to be part of each visit.

If your pregnancy requires extra bed rest, our caregivers can make the difference between getting the rest you need and being too tired to cope. During bed rest, our caregiver can help keep you comfortable, prepare meals, and remind you of medication schedules so you can get the quiet time you need. And your caregiver will provide emotional support to you and the family to help keep up normal routines, stay on track and prepare for the new arrival. Our caregivers are also there for the mommas if family or friends are not close by.

At Sweet In-Home Care, we understand that Mommas (and Dads) could use some help around the house such as using our light housekeeping services because a messy house is no fun or our recuperative care services because Mom needs her rest too especially while creating and giving life. Just like any of our other clients we understand that each situation is different and will be treated differently so whichever services are needed from us we will provide them.

Extra help around the house will give you time to relax and get things ready for the new arrival. Some of the things we can help with include:

  • Organizing and preparing for the new arrival

  • Meal preparation

  • Shopping

  • Hourly, overnight and around the clock care available
